This policy explains what information the website at easital.com collects, why, and who else is involved. The website is run by Easital Technologies Ltd. (legal name Easital Technologies Limited), 13/P Mymensingh Lane, Banglamotor, Dhaka 1000, Bangladesh. In this policy, "Easital", "we" and "us" mean that company.

This policy covers the website only. Our products, such as StepVideo, Manob.ai and mAutomate, have their own websites and their own privacy policies. Work we do for a client is covered by the agreement for that work.

1. What we collect and how

You can read the website without telling us who you are. There are no user accounts. We collect personal information in these ways:

  • Contact and enquiry forms. When you send a message through a form on the website, we receive your name, email address, phone number and the message you write.
  • Job applications. When you apply for an open position through the form on a job page, we receive your name, email address, phone number, your cover letter, the resume file you upload, and which position you applied for.
  • Email, phone and WhatsApp. If you contact us by email, by phone or through the WhatsApp button, we receive whatever you choose to send us, along with your email address or phone number.
  • Technical information. As with any website, loading a page sends your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time of the request to the servers that deliver the page. The analytics tags described below may also record how the website is used, such as which pages are viewed.

The forms send your information over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our own backend system at portal.easital.com. Please do not put sensitive information in a form, such as government ID numbers, financial details or health information. We do not ask for it.

2. Why we use it

  • To read and answer your enquiry, and to keep a record of the conversation.
  • To prepare a proposal or an agreement if you ask us for one.
  • To review your job application, contact you about it and run the hiring process for that position.
  • To keep the website working, secure and protected from spam and abuse.
  • To understand how the website is used so that we can improve it.
  • To meet legal obligations and to protect our rights.

Enquiries and applications are read by the people at Easital who handle sales and hiring.

3. Third parties involved

The website uses services from other companies. Each of them handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.

  • Cloudflare. The website is delivered through Cloudflare's network, which protects it and speeds it up. Requests to the website pass through Cloudflare, so Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address.
  • Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager and the analytics tags configured in it to measure how the website is used. These tags may set cookies or use similar technologies.
  • Google Fonts. The website's fonts are loaded from Google's servers, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads.
  • Google Maps. The contact page and the job pages show an embedded Google map of our office. The map is loaded from Google.
  • YouTube. Our company video is hosted on YouTube. When you play it on the website, it is loaded from YouTube. Some pages also link to videos on youtube.com.
  • WhatsApp. The WhatsApp button opens a chat with our business number in WhatsApp. Nothing is sent until you choose to send a message. WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Tidio. One page of the website, /nfto, loads a live chat widget from Tidio. If you use the chat, Tidio processes your messages on our behalf, and the widget may set cookies or use your browser's storage.
  • Other hosted files. An icon stylesheet is loaded from BootstrapCDN, and background videos on some service pages are loaded from Cloudinary. As with any file loaded from another server, that server receives your IP address.
  • Sites we link to. The website links to our products, to client products, and to social networks and directories. Those sites are not covered by this policy.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect our rights, our users or the public.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The website's own code does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser's local storage. The third-party services listed above may do so:

  • the analytics tags loaded through Google Tag Manager;
  • Cloudflare, which may set cookies it needs for security;
  • YouTube and Google Maps, when their content is loaded;
  • the Tidio chat widget on the /nfto page.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The pages of the website still work without them.

5. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. We keep job applications only as long as needed to run the hiring process for the position and to keep a record of it. Retention periods are set by the company. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, as described in the next section.

6. Your choices and how to make a request

  • You can browse the website without sending us any personal information.
  • You can block cookies in your browser, as described above.
  • You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your local law, such as the right to get a copy of your information, to object to how we use it, to restrict its use, or to complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email [email protected]. Tell us what you would like us to do, and include the email address or phone number you used when you contacted us so that we can find your records. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

7. International visitors

Easital is based in Bangladesh, and our team reads enquiries and job applications there. The service providers named above operate in other countries. If you use the website from outside Bangladesh, your information may be handled in a country other than the one you live in, and the data protection rules there may differ from those in your country.

8. Children

The website is meant for businesses and for adults who apply for jobs. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the website starts or stops using a service. When we do, we post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
